Our History

Locally Rooted, Locally Grown!

Priority First Federal Credit Union has its roots in the Brockway community, where it originated in 1969 as the Credit Union for employees of Brockway Glass, later known as Owens-Illinois. Throughout the years, Priority First was granted community charters in both Jefferson and Clearfield counties. Recently, we expanded our reach to include 11 additional counties: Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Forest, Indiana, Jefferson, McKean, Mercer, Venango, and Warren. This expansion opens membership eligibility to all who live, work, worship, volunteer, attend school, or participate in associations headquartered in any of these 13 counties. Priority First has also grown through mergers with prominent companies such as Brockway Pressed Metals in Brockway, PA.
